Mrs. K.Huddleston's 4th Grade ELA/SS Class

After graduating from Central High School in Carrollton, Georgia I began my collegiate career at the University of West Georgia. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology. I plan on returning to UWG in the near future to pursue a Specialist’s degree in Educational Leadership with a focus in School Improvement.  My certifications include Early Childhood Education, Instructional Technology, Middle Grades Mathematics, and a Teacher Leader Endorsement.

This is my sixth year with Carroll County Schools, but ninth year teaching overall. I began my career at Color Us Kids teaching Pre-K in August 2010. In January of 2013 I became a math tutor here at Mount Zion Elementary for second through fifth grade. In August of 2013 I became a second grade teacher at Sand Hill Elementary, and from August 2016 until May of 2018 I taught fourth grade (One year of math and one year as self contained). The 2018-2019 school year is my third year as a fourth grade teacher, and I am teaching Reading, ELA, Writing, and Social Studies. I am excited to be your child's teacher this year. I have attended, student taught, or subbed at every school in Carroll County, and I am proud to be apart of a thriving school system.

My husband, Jon-Wesley and I reside in the Hickory Level community of Carroll County. We have one daughter and a Yorkie named Lola. Our favorite things to do are visit the beach, ride the boat on the lake, watch movies, and enjoy one another‘s company. We have both lived in Carroll County our entire lives and enjoy being apart of our wonderful community.
