Hello! I graduated from Mercer University with an Early Education degree in 2005. I taught 5th grade in Paulding County for 9 years, and during that time I earned a Masters Degree in Elementary Math and Reading, From there, I taught 5th grade and EIP math for 4 years in Douglas County. I also taught 1 year in Bremen, as a part time computer lab teacher and STEM teacher. 

I am a mother of three. My oldest is 16, my middle is 10, and the youngest is 6. My oldest is a Junior, and she loves art, chorus, drama, and playing her violin. My middle child will be starting his last year in elementary this year, and he loves to play soccer, watch baseball, and he is a grey belt in Jiu Jitsu. My youngest is a fireball. She is all things girly, but also loves to skate and get on the Jiu Jitsu mat.

I love all things numbers and math related, and I cannot wait to get back into the classroom to teach math. Outside of school, I am beginning my journey into Jiu Jitsu, which is exciting and also the most difficult sport I have ever attempted. I love to run, exercise, be outside, but most of all, I love spending time with my children.

I am excited for this school year. It is going to be a great year, and I can't wait to watch your children learn and grow.
